Just some things about the site: I looked through the themes that were with the free wordpress thing, and found one that I liked. Is there even a way to make your own header image for the free ones? I probably wouldn’t remember how to make anything anymore. It’s been forever since I’ve used Paint Shop or anything else.

 Also, I’ve been trying to figure out if there is a way to put my twitter thing and my flickr on my site like I’ve seen on other sites. I thought I found a way for flickr, but for some reason it looked confusing to me. Oh, well. I’ll figure it out.

I’ll try to write a real blog soon. I start a new job tomorrow, so I have to go and see if I can actually find it tonight, so I don’t get lost tomorrow.

I’ve never done one of these, and this one is from like a couple weeks ago, but that’s ok. I saw it on another site and just decided to do it! And I don’t know why some of them are spaced so far apart. Sorry!

Today is going to be a lazy day. Well, it’s already been a lazy day, but it’ll continue to be one. Why is it a lazy day? No reason really. I have alot of stuff I have to do tomorrow and Thursday I’ll be starting a new job. So, I guess that’s why today is a lazy day.

The job is just temporary right now. I’m not even sure when exactly it’s supposed to end. The staffing place didn’t tell me. It could only be for Thursday. Don’t know.

Tomorrow, I’ll be taking my Grandma to work and helping her there. Then I’ll take her back home.

Well, there’s nothing else really to talk about. I’ll try to come up with something more interesting later. Hope everyone has a good day!

Well, it’s been a long time since I’ve had a blog. I don’t know how often I’ll update this, but I’ve wanted a blog again.

A little introduction. My name is Stephanie. I’m 28. I used to have a domain blissful-vengeance.org, but I wasn’t able to renew it. i doubt anyone will remember me, but that’s ok.

Not much to say right now. I just wanted to get this going. Hopefully I can come up with some things to talk about.

Well, well, well…look who’s back. Did ya miss me? More than likely not, but that’s cool.
Not much has been going on in my life since I last blogged on here or on my domain. Oh, yeah speaking of my domain, it is no longer with us. I sent the money to renew it, and she wasn’t able to renew it. So, I lost 20 dollars. I know it’s not much, but it was to me at the time. Oh, well.  Anyways, I’m going to try to blog more here. Probably noone will visit, but at least I can vent and stuff.

Let’s see if I can remember what’s been going on. I started a new job June 12th at a bank. I am a CSR/Teller. I’ve mostly been in the drive-up which is fine for me, because I really like it back here. I’ve been here a little over three months and things are going pretty well. I still need to learn more about opening new accounts, but haven’t had to do any since being in drive-up.
We did have a little bit of excitement September 14th. We were robbed by 3 guys. As far as we know they did not have any weapons, and noone was hurt thank god. They were caught the same day, and are now in jail without bond. So that’s good.

I’m sure there are other things that went on, but can’t think of them at the moment. Um, I’m going to 2 weddings in October (both on the same day), and my cousin Julie is getting married the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I have the dress I’m going to wear to the weddings but still have to get shoes, jewelry, and something for my hair. I’ll make sure to take pictures. I love my dress!

Really short post for ya this time! I don’t have alot of time on the internet tonight so just a few things.

As you may or may not know, I was supposed to start a new job on Monday the 3rd. Well, I’ve decided to stay with Peg Perego. They offered to give me a little bit more training, so that was nice. Monday and today I went in at 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and listened in on some calls. I didn’t have to work my usual times both days. Also on Friday I’m working from 8 a.m.-12 noon. Usually I work from 5-9 p.m. Monday-Friday since I’m only part-time at the moment.
The reason I’m going in 8-noon on Friday is so I can troubleshoot with some of the toys so I can better help customers. It was something I had asked to do in the first place (to have a little bit more training).

One of our stray cats that I’ve been feeding got hit by a car at around midnight Tuesday (today). My step-dad buried it today. I also discovered under our grill were 5 or 6 kittens. I went to pull the grill cover up because I saw it moving and out ran a bunch of kittens. I wish we could keep them, but unfortunately my mom is allergic to them. They’re so cute though.
Hmmm… anything else? I really want to go see a movie, but not sure which one to go see and I don’t have anyone to go with. I hate going to movies by myself. And they’re so damn expensive nowadays.  There is one that looks sortof interesting to me. It’s called “The Greatest Game Ever Played”
I’ve been thinking of going on a hiatus since I don’t usually blog but once a week. I’ve been wanting to put a new layout up but haven’t really had the time to make anything. I guess we’ll see how things go.

Well, I really wanted to have really good news when I blogged, but that just didn’t happen when I planned. Actually it hasn’t happened at all.
The good news I wanted to blog about if it happened was that I got a job, but I haven’t heard from Swanson yet. The guy at the interview Wednesday said that Swanson should get ahold of people by today (Thursday). But now it’s almost midnight Friday.

I think he also said that he was going to do more interviews, so I’m hoping to still hear something. Just incase you were wondering, the place I went to interview at is called Peg Perego. They make strollers, high chairs, car seats, and those battery powered vehicles. I’ll be doing customer service in the call center.

My step-dad’s surgery went well. I believe he has to stay home for at least 6 weeks. He’s still in pain, but he has pain medication for that. I had to take him to his Doctor’s appointment earlier today, plus to the pharmacy to get his prescription, since he’s not supposed to drive for awhile. All in all, he’s doing better.
Early Wednesday morning at about 12:30 a.m. I was sitting at the computer when the lights go out, the air conditioner goes off , and the computer shuts off. Turns out the electricity in the whole surrounding neighborhoods went out. Here it was out for at least 4 hours. It had been thundering and lightning earlier, but it was only raining. We’re still not sure why the electricity went off. So, since we didn’t have any electricity at all, we lit an oil lamp for a little bit, then went out on the screened in porch, and listened to the rain. Then that got boring, and we went to bed.

I have some new pictures, but I haven’t uploaded them to the computer yet, so I’ll save those for the next blog. 

I don’t really have any other news that I can think of at the moment. So, I guess this is goodbye…

So, how has everybody been? I’ve been fine. Actually haven’t been that busy, which you would think I have been since I haven’t blogged in 8 days. I just haven’t felt like it. But I guess all that matters is that I am now.

Happy Birthday’s:Happy Birthday to my dad, who is 53 today. Also, Happy Birthday to anyone else whose birthday is today!

Rant:Why is it that some My Chemical Romance (and other groups like that) fans think you’re not really a fan of them if you first found out about them on MTV? I mean, alot of the groups I’ve liked I’ve heard through MTV. That hasn’t actually happened to me personally, but I’ve read it on some message boards. Like I said, if it wasn’t for MTV, I wouldn’t have heard of them. That just irks me for some reason.

Three River’s Festival: I haven’t been able to make it downtown to the Three Rivers Festival yet, but I hope to since it ends on Sunday, which is when the fireworks are. If I do go, I’ll take pictures of food alley and all the people, since lots of them show up for the fireworks.

Reunion: Last blog, I talked about my family reunion I was going to on the 9th. Well, I did go, and I have some pictures you can see here. The pics I took are really random.
I had fun, but there wasn’t as many people there this year as there has been in previous years. Only about 75 people this year compared to over 150. We’ve also had a couple of family members who have died within the past year.

WordPress & Php: As you might know, I have WordPress on my site. Well, a few months ago Keng of Turbo-Geek nicely offered to help me with it. Well, she emailed me a few times explaining it to me and answering my questions.
I’ve gone through those emails alot the past month, and I decided I’m going to try to do it the right way instead of with Iframes. I’m just still having trouble with the whole php thing for some reason. All I want is to have the current layout have the wordpress blog with my sidebar without having to use iframes. Anyways, another big thanks to Keng!

4images: In the last blog, I edited it asking if anyone knew how to customize it. Well, I figured out how to add css to it by editing the style.css, but I can’t figure out how to add my own top image or how to get rid of the blue things at the very bottom. I’m still also having trouble how to get the thumbnails, and also the line spacing is messed up on some of the things. Like where it says Outdoor pictures, Pets, and Reunion. As opposed to how the other words look like Mastodons, etc… You can see the gallery here. Any help would be appreciated.

Online/Offline: Some of you may remember the layout I had up around February with a blend of me on it. If not you can see it here. I also made one of my mom and my brother at my mom’s request which you can see
here and here. Well, now my Grandma wants me to make one of her, one of my Grandpa, and one of them and their parents. Back when I first made the other ones, I was thinking it would be great if I could do this for a little extra cash. So, I have a question for you guys. Do you think people would pay for someone to make a blend, print it out, mat it and ship it out to them? Just trying to get a little survey.

Weightloss: I weighed myself earlier today, and I have now lost 92 pounds since I started my diet about 3 years ago. I can’t believe in August it’ll be 3 years! Time sure has flown by. . That reminds me that I need to update my Weightloss Page.

Randomness: Has anyone ever tried Cheezit Twisterz? The Cool Ranch and Cheddar ones are so good! I haven’t tried the other flavors yet, but hope to sometime. They’re kindof expensive ($3.49 a box) for crackers, at least I think so, but still worth it.
Have you ever seen the commercial for the cool ranch and cheddar ones where there are people there for a taste test thing, and the guy puts the crackers out and the people say cool ranch and cheddar, then he puts out brownies and they say cool ranch and cheddar, then the last thing he puts out for them to taste is celery, and they still say cool ranch and cheddar. I don’t know why, but I really like that commercial. Very random, I know.

Randomness part 2: I just found out that the rap/hip hop group Third Frame is from Fort Wayne, Indiana (which is where I’m from). I can’t think of the name of the song that’s out now that they sing though. Something about “Paper”. And I can’t get onto their website for some reason. But anyways, I thought it was cool that they’re from Fort Wayne.

<b>Independence Day:</b> So, how was everyone’s Independence Day? <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/firecracker.gif” alt=”:firecracker:” /> And for those of you who don’t celebrate it, how was your 4th of July? Mine was fine. Went to my Grandma and Grandpa’s for a get together. Was pretty nice seeing everyone, even though not everyone was able to come.  My cousin Julie was there with her boyfriend Brad, and my cousin Matt was there with his girlfriend Stephanie. Kind of made me lonely since I don’t have a boyfriend. <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/sad.gif” alt=”:sad:” /> I really need to get out there and meet someone. Not easy for me though, since I’m so shy. <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/no.gif” alt=”:no:” />

Was able to see them from my Grandma and Grandpa’s backyard. <b>Not quite a lobster:</b> A few days ago, I layed out in the sun and got really burnt. It still hurts on my back but the rest is turning into a nice tan, which is a surprise since I hardly ever tan. Usually I burn and then just get white again. I took pictures of the burn on my shoulders and back. I also took one of the burn on my knees, but accidentally deleted it. Is doing alot better now. <b>I love shopping:</b> Man, have I ever mentioned how much I love shopping? Well, I do! <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/love.gif” alt=”:love:” /> I also love good deals.  Last Friday, I went to <a href=”http://oldnavy.com” target=”_blank”>Old Navy</a> and bought a pair of capris that were originally $29.50 for $14.49! I couldn’t get a good picture of those and I couldn’t find them on the Old Navy website, but take my word for it, they were really cute! Plus I got a tank top that was originally $14.50 for a little over $2.00. I don’t think it was supposed to be marked down since none of the other ones were, but they still gave it to me. You might not be able to see it very well, but it has lace around the neck and arms.
After <a href=”http://oldnavy.com” target=”_blank”>Old Navy</a> I went to <a href=”http://www.tjmaxx.com” target=”_blank”>T.J. Maxx</a>. I don’t know if anyone has ever been there or not, but it is my new favorite store. They have great prices on stuff. <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/grin.gif” alt=”:grin:” /> I got <a href=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/shopping/IM000685.jpg” target=”_blank”>this</a>, <a href=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/shopping/IM000681.jpg” target=”_blank”>this</a>, <a href=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/shopping/IM000679.jpg” target=”_blank”>this</a>, <a href=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/shopping/IM000674.jpg” target=”_blank”>this</a> and <a href=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/shopping/IM000671.jpg” target=”_blank”>this</a> for a little over $60.00. I still need to get a pair of white capris to go with the third thing so I’ll probably go back there later. The second top I’m going to wear with black capris, but I can pretty much wear both tops with any color. I love clothes! <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/heart.gif” alt=”:heart:” />

<b>I hate bugs:</b> Man, I really hate bugs. I was washing my clothes the other day, and I see this huge bug. I got a picture of it you can see <a href=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/bugs/IM000669.jpg” target=”_blank”>here</a>. It’s a <a href=”http://www.whatsthatbug.com/cent.html” target=”_blank”>Centipede</a>, and I hate them. We get them in the kitchen alot, and even upstairs in the hallway, plus my room, my mom’s room, the bathroom, wherever. I’m going to read that page more to see how we can get rid of them. That picture I posted is of the one that was on the wall by the washer and dryer. If there is anyone that know anything about them, please pass on the info! <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/wink.gif” alt=”:wink:” />

<b>Family reunion:</b> My dad’s side of the family reunion is on the 9th and I can’t wait. It gives me a chance to see family I haven’t seen in awhile. Although I see them every year, since we have one every July. It sucks though, because I always miss the Three River’s Festival Parade, since it’s always on the same Saturday as the reunion. (More about the festival below) I’ll try to take some pictures at the reunion if I remember.

<b>Three River’s Festival:</b> It’s that time of the year again! The <a href=”www.threeriversfestival.org” target=”_blank”>Three River’s Festival</a>. It’s always fun, and there are always different activities that go on. You can look at the Three River’s Festival web site to know more about it. Link <a href=”www.threeriversfestival.org” target=”_blank”>here</a>. The only bad thing is that I always seem to miss the starting parade. But have never missed the ending fireworks. And I always go to Food Alley once. Used to be called Junk Food Alley, but they dropped the word <i>Junk</i> even though they still have the Junk portion of it. Hey everyone! Did you miss me? I can’t believe I haven’t blogged in <b>17</b> days! <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/whoa.gif” alt=”:whoa:” /> In order for me to remember everything, I’m going to list what’s been going on in paragraphs.

<b>Few new pictures:</b> I put a few new pictures in the gallery. Check <a href=”http://www.blissful-vengeance.org/gallery” target=”_blank”>here</a> for them. I still need to figure out how to get the default thumbnail picture to show the actual picture, plus I want to customize it to look nice. I know that Jennifer’s  from <a href=”http://kiss-my-kitty.com” target=”_blank”>Kiss-my-Kitty.com</a> gallery has both of those. Maybe I should just ask her. 

<b>New layout?:</b> No, there is not a new layout yet, but there might be a new layout on the horizon. I have a great idea for one, but I have to think about it first. I know exactly what I want it to be, but it’s just the css color scheme I’m having trouble with, and resizing pictures and the such. It might not be up so soon though, since I still really like this one and the color scheme of it. We’ll see.

<b>Work done:</b> Work is over with. I’m actually sad to see it done. <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/sad.gif” alt=”:sad:” /> I really didn’t think I would miss it. I thought I would not like everyone, but suprisingly everyone was very, very nice. Actually I’ll be sseing them again July 24th where Angie (the manager) will be having a closing party. It should be fun. Some of the customers who were part of the contest I was working on were invited, so that’ll be nice to see them again also. <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/biggrin.gif” alt=”:big grin:” /> I’m not going to talk about everything that went on at work because then this blog would be pages and pages long! Then again, maybe this blog would be more interesting. <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/laugh.gif” alt=”:laugh:” />

<b>Job hunting:</b> The job hunting has been on a standstill while I’ve been working at <a href=”http://www.hallmark.com” target=”_blank”>Hallmark</a>, but since that job is done, I’ve been looking again. And I’m looking for a full-time job this time so once I do find a job just watch I’ll probably take another break. I don’t know why I even have a site since I hardly even update it. I still want to add a few new things to it.

<b>Party:</b> Remember the party I talked about going to in the last blog? Well, I did go, but it wasn’t all that good. Kinda boring. That was probably because I got there after they surprised the birthday boy, and left before the bonfire, so I guess that was my fault. It was still nice seeing people.

<b>Driving:</b> I’m so proud of myself! Most of you may know that I just recently got my license. Well, since I had been working across town at <a href=”http://www.hallmark.com” target=”_blank”>Hallmark</a> I’ve had to have people give me rides out there. Well, a few times I was able to drive myself out there! <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/yes.gif” alt=”:yes:” /> So, now I’ve started saving up for a car. Actually I would have had enough for a really good down payment on a car a few years ago, but I had some financial trouble, and I’ve been out of money for a few months. I’ve had money here and there, but since I’ve been working at Hallmark, I’ve been saving half my check, so pretty soon hopefully I’ll get another job and I’ll be able to save up more money and open up another bank account. I used to have one, but I had to close it.

<b>Totally random:</b> I know this is very random, but I was looking outside the other night, and I saw a whole bunch of lightning bugs. That just brought back alot of memories of how I used to take a mayonnaise jar and the lid, poke holes in the top of the lid, and catch the lightning bugs in the jar. Then I would keep them for awhile, and then let them loose. I’m sure everyone has done that at some time in their lives.

<b>Orange?!?:</b> I am currently orange (tan)! I tried a self-tanner the other night, and it wouldn’t look so bad if it didn’t streak. Does anyone know of any good self tanners? I actually like the color, (it’s not really orange) so I’ll probably just reapply later.
