My mom’s been sick for the past 3 days. She didn’t go to work yesterday or today at all, so I get to play nurse. That’s what happens when you’re such a nice daughter. I don’t mind though. It’s not too bad, I just had to fix her food. She hasn’t been able to keep much down, but she has had 3 popsicles. I just hope I don’t get sick. I haven’t been sick in a long time, which is good because I hate being sick. (Not like anyone likes being sick) <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/gross.gif“>

It was so nice here the past couple of days. The high Wednesday I believe was 71, and the day before was like a high of 67 or 68. Today it’s kindof rainy and 46 degrees, and tomorrow it’s only supposed to be a high of 49. <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/blah.gif“> I can’t wait ’til it’s always sunny and warm out. Bring it on! <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/yes.gif“>

You know how in the last blog, or the one before it, I was talking about the stray cats I’m feeding? Well, I took a couple of pictures. I only got one of them though. The smallest one. I did get one of all of them in the flower garden, but you can’t really see them. I’ll try circling them in the picture, so you can see. As I’m typing this, I see the black cat eating. That one’s the most skittish out of all of them. He runs away whenever I open the sliding glass door out to the porch.

 Would someone be willing to help me install WordPress? I have the MySQL database and everything made, and used the tutorial that Nikki at <a href=”http://www.southernpixie.com” target=”_blank”>SouthernPixie.com</a> gave me a link to, but I get as far as Step 4:Placing the files. I have no idea where to put them, and no idea what all needs to be uploaded. I feel so stupid! The tutorial she gave me the link to is <a href=”http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress” target=”_blank”>here</a>. Again I got as far as Step 4. Any other help would be greatly appreciated! I don’t know why I’m having so much trouble understanding that tutorial. It’s seems to be very in depth, but I’m having such a hard time with it. I have a question, in order to use wordpress, or any kind of blogging thing like that, does your whole site have to be converted to PHP? I’m just wondering that because the files that it uses have the ending of .PHP. I’m so confused! <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/confused.gif“> I have another question also. Last week, I downloaded WS_FTP Home. It’s only a 30 day free trial, and I still have 23 days left, but for those of you who still use WS_FTP or any FTp program, how did you get to use it after the 30 days? I know the trick of setting the computer clock back to the day you downloaded it, but I can’t do that since it’s not my computer. Any suggestions would be appreciated muchly! <img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/roxygurl228/smilies/smile.gif“>

Not to get into any debates or anything, but what do you guys think of the Terri Schiavo case? I’m not siding with her husband, but I’m mostly siding with her parents and other family. I don’t think her husband should have really had any say in whether or not the caretakers should have taken out the feeding tube. I mean, wasn’t he shacking up with another woman, and had some children with her? I don’t know. I mean it is kind of like people are taking part in a murder. It’s probably true that she wouldn’t have gotten any better, but she was doing alot better. I think the saddest part, to me at least, is not necessarily the fact that she died, (don’t get me wrong, that’s really sad) but the fact that her husband won’t let her mom, dad, brother, sister, etc… be at the funeral and won’t tell them where the body will be at after. That just seems really cruel to me. See an article <a href=”http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2005-04-01-schiavo_x.htm?csp=24&RM_Exclude=Juno” target=”_blank”>here</a>.  I would want my future husband, or boyfriend to let my family be there for the funeral and the burial, and to be able to visit my grave.  RIP Terri Schiavo. (If you didn’t already know, she died at around 9:00 a.m. 3/31.)
