Christmas Eve we went to my Grandma and Grandpa Grabner’s, and Christmas Day I went to my step-brother Matt’s house, then Christmas night came home and opened presents. Overall, it was a great Christmas. <img src=”http://auction4.comton.com/member/roxygurl/cute.gif” alt=”:cute:”>

Yesterday morning (Monday), I went to <a href=”http://swansonstaffing.com” target=”_blank”>Swanson Staffing</a>. It’s a Temp Agency that helps you look for work. My brother’s girlfriend Chantel works at a place called <b>Peg Perego</b>, and she told me they were hiring, and that I should go to Swanson Staffing, and fill out an application so I went there and filled one out and was tested on my typing, and some other stuff. I think I did pretty good. The bad thing is that <b>Peg Perego</b> isn’t hiring until February, but the good thing is that Chantel has the supervisor looking out for my application so hopefully I’ll get the job! <img src=”http://auction4.comton.com/member/roxygurl/biggrin.gif” alt=”:big grin:”>

My brother also told me that when I get a job, he’ll give me his cell phone! It’s a flip phone, and it’s only like 6 months old. I believe he’s getting a new one. All I have to do is activate it. <img src=”http://auction4.comton.com/member/roxygurl/cute.gif” alt=”:cute:”>

In my last blog, I was talking about going to the hockey game and to the Christmas party the next day. Well the <a href=”http://komethockey.com” target=”_blank”>Komet’s</a> won 9-4! I keep on telling myself I should go to the Hockey games more often. I mean it was because I was there that they won, right? Just Kidding. <img src=”http://auction4.comton.com/member/roxygurl/cute.gif” alt=”:cute:”>

The <b>Rockey</b> Christmas party was pretty fun. Pretty much same old, same old. Every year after we eat we have a gift exchange where a man brings a present for a man, and a woman brings one for a woman, and a child for a child. This year I bought a snowman thing that is three round boxes and you stack them to make a snowman. Well, in the top box I put Hershey’s Kisses, in the second box a tin of peanuts, and in the bottom box some chocolate chip cookies, and some sugar cookies.

Anyway’s…in the gift exchange you’re allowed to steal someone’s gift if they have something you want and then that person has to go pick another gift. Well, the first gift I picked ended up being a box with a bottle of liquid potpourri, and a thing to put the potpourri in. Someone ended up stealing it from me, so I had to pick another gift. The second gift ended up being alot better than the first one anyway. It was a red <a href=”http://www.verabradley.com” target=”_blank”>Vera Bradley</a> purse.  That link is just to the main site. Here’s a link to the purse I got <a href=”http://www.verabradley.com/retiredcolors.aspx” target=”_blank”>Here</a>. The name of it is <b>Red Bandana</b>. It just retired in January of ‘04.

Oh, I almost forgot! Remember how I was talking about <b>Redding’s</b>, and Jerry closing it and everything? Well, when I was at the Hockey game, I saw the old owner Steve Redding there, and supposedly he took back Redding’s from Jerry. I don’t know if he’s going to open it back up or not, but if he does I would much rather work for Steve than Jerry! <img src=”http://auction4.comton.com/member/roxygurl/smile.gif” alt=”:smile:”>

<b>Site:</b> Still working on the “Me” section. Hoping to validate my css, also. I also got most of my fanlistings I joined back up. I’m also thinking of making a fanlisting. Never made one before, though.

<b>Personal:</b> First off, I have a <b>HUGE</b> question. Is there anyone who would be willing to help me validate my css? I’ve tried, but cannot understand at all what it is saying is wrong. I want my site to look good in other browsers as well. I could make you something.  <img src=”http://auction4.comton.com/member/roxygurl/grin.gif” alt=”:grin:”> Also, I signed up for this one site <a href=”http://yoursite.nu” target=”_blank”>YourSite.Nu</a>, and one of the people who reviewed my site, said I should Justify the text in my blog. The only problem is in my css, it says align:Justify. Don’t know what’s wrong there. Any help whatsoever would be <b>GREATLY</b> appreciated!

Well, about the last blog talking about <b>Redding’s</b>. I still haven’t heard from Jerry, and there is still white butcher paper covering the windows. I know that he has been there practically every day though. I see his van parked in the back. <img src=”http://auction4.comton.com/member/roxygurl/evil.gif” alt=”:evil:”>

I never did end up putting lights in my room. But <a href=”http://www.silvercpu.com” target=”_blank”>Lissy</a> had a great idea. Use <b>Tube Lights</b>! That would actually probably look good all year ’round too! <img src=”http://auction4.comton.com/member/roxygurl/cute.gif” alt=”:cute:”>

Tomorrow night I’m going to a Hockey Game with my family on my dad’s side. There’s probably going to be at least 15 people going. I haven’t been to a Hockey Game in forever. I used to go alot when I was younger, because my mom and my step-dad both used to work at the <b>Coliseum</b>. My mom worked behind the ticket booth, and my step-dad worked in the press box. The team who we root for is the <a href=”http://komethockey.com” target=”_blank”>The Komet’s</a>. Then Saturday we have our annual <b>Rockey</b> Christmas party. Sometime’s we have it before Christmas and sometime’s we have it after Christmas. But it’s always on a Saturday. <img src=”http://auction4.comton.com/member/roxygurl/smile.gif” alt=”:smile:”>

<b>Site:</b> Starting to readd some things to the “Me” section. Will probably take some time. I’ll probably change the font color also. It’s a little hard to read.

<b>Personal:</b> Let’s see, what’s been going on with me? Not a whole lot. I thought  I was supposed to work at <b>Redding’s</b> on Wednesday and Friday, but when I went over there on Tuesday to see if Jerry needed me to work, I saw a sign in the window saying they were closed that day for Inventory. So I called Redding’s to leave a message, and he never got back to me. <img src=”http://auction4.comton.com/member/roxygurl/grr.gif” alt=”:grr:”>

So that night I went to bed, and got up at my normal time I get up to get ready for work, and I call and noone answers. I went over there to see if they were open and the same sign was up. I looked in the windows and saw Jerry in the back. Dumbass still hasn’t called me back, and they were closed again on Friday. I went over there earlier today, just to see that he had put paper in the windows so noone can see in the store. My mom seems to think that he might be filing bankrupcy. <img src=”http://auction4.comton.com/member/roxygurl/frown.gif” alt=”:frown:”> Makes me really glad that I got all my Christmas shopping done though. Otherwise I wouldn’t have any money to buy anymore.
<p>
I’ve been trying to decorate my bedroom for Christmas. I want to put lights up, but the ones I want to use seem to not like me very much. They won’t stay up. <img src=”http://auction4.comton.com/member/roxygurl/evil.gif” alt=”:evil:”> I’m going to try again in a little bit though, because I really want lights in my room this year. I might have to straighten up a bit first, though. <img src=”http://auction4.comton.com/member/roxygurl/blush.gif” alt=”:blush:”>

I went shopping with my mom last night to <a href=”http://www.lsayres.com” target=”_blank”>L.S. Ayres</a>. They were open til midnight, and had some pretty good sales. I got a pair of Black and Pink Converse sneakers that were originally <b>$45.00</b> for <b>$19.99</b>! <b>Site:</b> New layout as you can see. I actually like it. Not too sure if I like the css, but it’ll do. I wasn’t sure what color I wanted the links to be, so I made them green since  that’s the  color of the trees.

My whole “Me” section got deleted. Makes me so mad, so that part will be down until I can make more pages. I lost everything in that section and I was stupid and didn’t back it up.

<b>Personal:</b> Well, it’s been a whole week since I last blogged. Sorry about that! <img src=”http://auction4.comton.com/member/roxygurl/blush.gif” alt=”:blush:”> I got my layout done and up and the graphics for my guestbook made and up, so that’s good.

I’ll tell as much as I can about what’s been going on the past week. Wednesday and Friday I worked at <b>Redding’s</b>. Friday when I was at work I decided to decorate the store for Christmas. Now it looks festive. I put lights up in the window, and garland up by the meat case, plus did some other decorating. It looks all spiffy now. <img src=”http://auction4.comton.com/member/roxygurl/cute.gif” alt=”:cute:”>

On Wednesday last week my glasses decided to break right when I was getting ready to go to work. Stupid things are only a year old. <img src=”http://auction4.comton.com/member/roxygurl/grr.gif” alt=”:grr:”> I had to call <b>Sear’s Optical</b>, and see if I could bring my glasses in to get fixed. Well, while I was at work, my step-dad took them in for me and they bent the ear piece that broke back in place, but said that I should come in and order a new pair of glasses since the frames I have now they don’t make anymore. The best part is that I don’t have to pay anything for them since I bought a breakage protection plan when I bought the old one’s. So hopefully those will be in sometime this week.

I went shopping on Saturday, and got all my Christmas shopping done. Now all I have to do is wrap them. I <i>hate</i> wrapping presents! But at least I got the shopping done. Now I don’t have to worry about whether or not I have enough money to buy people stuff. Last night we decorated the house, and the front porch. We still have to decorate the tree. Everything looks so pretty! I’ll have to take some pictures and post them here when they get developed.
